Men's Brotherhood
The men will meet tomorrow evening at 7 PM in the fellowship hall. Come for a great night of Bible study and fellowship.

UPLIFT
Union Avenue Baptist Church will be hosting the Uplift rally for the youth this Saturday at 5 PM. All are welcome, but the youth are especially encouraged to attend. We will leave the church at 4:45 PM.

Trunk-n-Treat
Last year was a tremendous success with 3 souls saved. We want to see the Lord honor and bless again this year but it will take an entire church effort. We will have a meeting this afternoon at 4:30 in the fellowship hall. Also, we are going to need a lot of candy!!! Please place it the box in the vestibule.

Praise in the Park
We will be attending Praise in the Park in Lucedale, MS on Oct. 18th. We will leave the church at 1 PM and return around 11 PM. This year the headlining group is Casting Crowns. Cost is $10 if we have 15 or more. Otherwise, cost is $13. Children 4 and under are free. Money needs to be turned in to Chris McClelland by this Wednesday. Bring a lawnchair or blanket. You may wish to also bring frisbees and footballs. 

 Revealing the Revelation
As you all know, we live in a very dangerous time.  These may be the days much like the book of Matthew describes "the beginning of sorrows."  I encourage you to come and participate in Sunday evening worship services as we have recently began a study through the book of Revelation. 

Drama Ministry and Puppet Ministry
The puppet ministry meets each Sunday afternoon at 3:30 PM.  The drama ministry will meet each Sunday afternoon at 4 PM.  All youth who would like to help are encouraged to attend.  See Lisa Underwood for more info.

Baptist Training Course
Have you been to BTC lately?  If not, you are missing out on some great Bible studies.  The adult BTC class is studying the Chrisitian life and the adult elective class is beginning a discipleship study.  We also have classes for all ages beginning with the nursery.  Classes begin at 5 PM.

DVD Players Needed
As you probably know by know we record our services in DVD.  Unfortunately, we have some shut-ins who do not own a DVD player.  If you would like to donate a new or fairly new DVD player or give an offering towards the purchase of one please see Chris McClelland or Joey Landrum.
