We become all things that we might reach the youth of our community!

Purpose of Youth Ministry

God's purpose for Youth Ministry is discovered in Matthew 22:37-40.  In these verses, Jesus states that the most important tasks we have is to love God and love people. 

The plan to love God and love people is found in Mathew 28:19-20.  Go, and make disciples, baptize and teach them obedience to God's Word.

Our youth ministry exists to REACH non-believing youth, to CONNECT them with other Christians, to help them GROW in their faith, and challenge the growing to SERVE others through ministry and HONOR God with their life.

There are many ways in which we are trying to meet these needs for the youth in our community.  It is our desire to reach as many children as we can with the life changing Gospel of Jesus Christ.

PLAN OF OUR YOUTH MINISTRY

REACH

• Take all opportunities to reach others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ
• Train others (youth) in evangelism and give opportunities to exercise their training

CONNECT

• Provide times for true fellowship by ministering together, traveling together, praying together, and playing together
• Youth meets weekly according to age on Sundays and Wednesdays
• Camps and other recreational events

GROW

• FUEL, Sunday School, and BTC(Baptist Training Course)
• Wednesday Night Youth Ministry
• Biblical Training that is age specific to the struggles of life.

SERVE

• Give opportunities to meet other people's needs:  spiritual and physical

HONOR

• Youth are challenged to worship with a pure heart.
• Youth are exposed to worship opportunities continuously.
• Encouraged to put into practice the teachings of Biblical truths.
